How To Find Elden Ring Chelona’s Rise Turtle Locations: Quick Guide

Crossing the hurdles to unleash Chelona’s Rise in Elden Ring seems to be one of the hardest tasks in the game. Yet this task, too, just like the other ones, is not impossible to crack. One must follow a few steps carefully and heed the instructions and gameplay carefully throughout the game.

If you, as a gamer, have roamed and gone through the in-between lands, you must have come in contact with the towers at least one building earlier. The towers are the sealed structures one can find all over the game. The only way to access these packed towers is to solve the puzzles related to the buildings themselves. You can realize that these puzzles are similar and if you pay attention, they can be cracked easily.

    Chelona’s Rise:

    Chelona’s Rise:

To access Chelona’s Rise, one has to search in the Liurnia of Lakes. The path to Liurnia Lakes is not quite easy, and the course relates to Ranni’s Questline and is put forward along with the Albinauris villages. It would help if you tasseled your way out through Ranni’s Questline to reach Liurnia of Lakes. Your hard work through the path will grant you access to Chelona’s Rise. Like the other sealed towers, this one also gets a puzzle to solve. It can be said that this puzzle is one of the trickiest puzzles in the game.

Find Elden Ring Chelona’s Rise Turtle Locations

Chelona’s Rise can be found south of the Ringleader Evergaol in the Moonlight Altar. This location can be found in Liurnia’s extreme southwestern part. The message “Seek three great wise beasts” will appear as you examine the glowing book outside the gate. However, these creatures are the spectral form of three giant turtles that were spawned and dispersed throughout the area. To enter Chelona’s Rise, you must locate and defeat them. To locate these sage turtles, scroll all to the end.

    First Location:

The first turtle is hanging by the cliff face, west of the tower. Hit it with an AoE melee skill or a ranged attack.

    Second Location:

You can find the second turtle at a considerable distance to the east, south of the Lunar Estate Ruins. The turtle can be seen perched on a lower cliff when you head toward the plateau’s edge and look down. Moreover, this turtle occasionally does not spawn, so you may skip this.

NOTE: Start at the Altar South Site of Grace and work your way east to ensure the turtle spawns. The turtle may not spawn if it moves too quickly to other nearby Sites of Grace.

NOTE 2: Throw an AoE spell or item—even an arrow—where the turtle should be if you can’t see it from the cliff. After that, move on to the third turtle.

    Third Location:

The final turtle can be found flying high above the ground southeast of Ringleader’s Evergaol. With Torrent, you can jump from a SpiritSpring nearby and fly through the turtle while in the air. If you don’t see the turtle, try going to Altar South, interacting with the imp statue book, and then running to the SpiritSpring. However, it’s very easy to see under the SpiritSpring.

How To Find The Turtle’s Locations:

    • You can find these turtles and Chelona’s Rise on the plateau above Liurnia and the Village of the Albinaurics. They are the most dispersed and difficult to find, necessitating extensive travel throughout the region. They’re also much larger, which isn’t relevant to the approach or the puzzle but is noticeable. Besides, we can also direct you to the secret ending of the optional Elden Ring Ranni questline. If you find all the turtles, you’ll be able to open a chest that contains Ranni’s Dark Moon, a powerful Sorcery spell with PvE applications.
    • You can see the first turtle clinging to the cliff face west of Chelona’s Rise. Any ranged weapon, spell, or area-of-effect weapon will suffice.
    • To reach the plateau’s southernmost point, far to the east, take the second turtle, which will take you further afield. This sage animal also sits below you on a narrow ledge of rock.
    • The final turtle is the most difficult to locate. In addition, this one is located far to the north of Chelona’s Rise and the southeast of the Evergaol. Because it is in midair, it might get destroyed with a ranged weapon or a nearby spirit spring.
    • Once you’ve captured all three turtles, return to Chelona’s Rise and enter the tower. Moreover, the elevator or two flights of stairs will take you to the very top of the building. Ranni’s Dark Moon sorcery is in the chest in this room (opens in a new tab).
    • If you’ve looked everywhere and still haven’t found any animals, return to Chelona’s Rise and re-examine the clue. The animals usually vanish when you die or use a Site of Grace to traverse the area quickly. Every time you read the indication, the remaining tortoises will reappear. When all three are dead, a sign indicates that the seal has been broken and that you are now free to enter the tower. Unlocking Chelona’s Rise will grant you Ranni’s Dark Moon, a Legendary sorcery.

    Conclusion:

You should seek out the other sorcerer towers now that you know where to find the turtles of Chelona’s Rise and how to enter them. Fortunately, the Elden Ring strategy guide contains solutions to these issues.
