WoW Shadowlands Season 4 Release Date Confirmed

Blizzard has confirmed that WoW Shadowlands Season 4 will begin on August 2, 2022, following server maintenance that will render the game unplayable for several hours. Season 3 will end approximately 24 hours before this time and fans will need to complete all remaining tasks before a new update launches. Blizzard calls it Warcraft Season 4 Experimental and that makes sense when you look at the planned changes. Also, Season 3 of Shadowlands will no longer offer seasonal PvP rewards, titles, or ranks after the end of the season.

Blizzard has confirmed that Season 4 will feature a higher tier of PvP gear alongside other seasonal rewards, such as mounts and titles. Mythic+ will see more changes as Blizzard creates the highest Eternal Gladiator title. This includes expanding the Mythic+ dungeon pool to include eight dungeons that span WoW’s latest four expansions, including these possibilities: Tazavesh: Streets of Wonder, Tazavesh: So’leah’s Gambit, Operation Mechagon: Junkyard, Operation Mechagon: Workshop, Return to Karazhan: Lower, Return to Karazhan: Upper, two dungeons from Warlords of Draenor.
