    Troubleshooting DualShock 4 Bluetooth

Try plugging the DualShock 4 into your phone for a few moments before trying to pair it again. It may not have enough juice, and the Controller might have trouble connecting.

If all else fails, there may be a problem with the Controller’s firmware. Insert a paperclip into the hole at the bottom of the Controller’s back, just below the L2 trigger.

The Controller will factory reset after you hold it down for five seconds. It is now more likely to pair correctly. A wired connection is the only way to connect to an Android phone with Android 9.0 or later. Your DualShock 4 charging cables (USB-to micro-USB) will be required.
